Aquablation Waterjet therapy is a novel therapy to remove obstructive prostate tissue using a robotically guided heat-free waterjet. Aquablation offers a lower risk of sexual dysfunction and post-operative leakage compared with conventional prostate surgery, with 85% of men able to ejaculate after surgery, and 99% of men free of stress-urinary incontinence. The procedure is carried out under general or spinal anaesthetic and the majority of men are discharged from hospital the day after surgery.
Mr Cohen performs Aquablation, HoLEP, Bipolar TURP and Urolift Surgery, and is happy to discuss these and other options, including Prostate Artery Embolisation.
